Obscure Cloud worked with TalkingShip to develop the site, format, layout, functionality, and programmed all of the features using PHP and MySQL. Logo was was done by one of their listeners.

The site has a custom back end that allows it's owner to constantly add and edit posts to the site with videos, pictures, and commentary.

It also features ratings for each post, comments, polls, easy links to share content on social networking sites, and other interactive features to keep their listeners engaged.

Recently, new features were added to allow them to add user accounts so that select listeners can update the site content as well.

FiberToTheWhatever.com is a custom concept web site with an emphasis on social networking in the fiber optic industry.

It features extensive database programming to facilitate vendor accounts, classified listings, RFP postings, press release dissemination, a newsletter, and more.

The news aggregator is one of the biggest draws of traffic to the site. It is a custom application using Yahoo Pipes! and FeedForAll.

There are several built in revenue generators. A strategic partnership with CareerBuilder helps generate revenue for the site.

Ohudba.com is custom concept web site designed to give musicians and bands an easy medium to sell their work without needing the distribution of a record label.

MyFreakOut.com is a "different" kind of greeting card company. This site features an online storefront, shopping cart, and credit card processing by Google Checkout.

While dated today, when it was developed, a significant amount of traffic was derived from the unique marketing concept developed by Obscure Cloud Web Design to offer content relevant MySpace comments with link backs to the online store.

The storefront features a rating system for products, and a back end for tracking orders and maintaining the product catalog.

UniparPallets.com is a branch of a non profit organization. This an example of Dynamic Web Site Design that features basic information about the company:

  • Services offered

Additionally, it is set up to collect email address of visitors for marketing purposes as well as a section to request a quote on their services.

MyElection.info is a custom concept web site to help votes research candidates for public office.

It features a news aggregator, database for collecting data, custom PHP programming to display dynamic database data, and also serves ads from Google.
